2) Crowd the line and play the run. Green is not a cutback runner so we won't have to worry about over-pursuit.

So far I'm happy with how Lawrence Westbrook is scoring (and actually a bit surprised). But if this team is to exceed my rather high expectations another scorer has to emerge.

Al Nolen is a pass first guy. Although I think he needs to attack the basket more, he is not, even at his best, the answer to the Gophers scoring woes.

Thus far this year, we've seen Maroon jerseys over Gold pants for Northern Illinois, Montana State, FAU and Michigan and we've seen the Maroon over Maroon look for IU and Northwestern. Will we see Maroon over White this Saturday? (Last year's Iowa game was the first time I remember seeing White over Maroon)

I hope the Metrodome/city/U officials start concentrating their efforts on continuing to get NCAA 1st/2nd round & regional semis/finals. Just can't see any way another Final Four will be awarded to Minneapolis (with the Dome as the site), but I would think earlier rounds will stay within the realm of possibility.
