I don't think Kentucky is ruining BG's coaching career. It may be the other way around. The kids are great players and passionate about basketball. I
prefer to think that his tenure at a high profile basketball school is exposing the difference between taking a less-renowned school to bigger basketball
accomplishments and taking the high-profile basketball program the last incremental step up. Big difference. There's not much room at the top.
Well I don't here anyone here giving Monson credit for the turnaround last year. Which I agree with, it was all Tubby. Luckily Hoffarber and Nolen
turned out to be not all that bad. But anyone that saw the difference in Damien Johnson between Monson and Tubby knows what is what. I'm thinking Billy G
is getting a little hot...

It's a lose-lose-lose for Tubby at Kentucky.

If they struggle over the next year or two, it's because Tubby left the cupboard bare.
If improve over the next year or two, then it's "See, Tubby sucked as a coach".
If whoever their coach is does not improve the program from where it is now, then it's Tubby's fault because he permanently destroyed the program.

I thought with Tubby gone the top level recruits would be lined up begging to get in ready to turn the ship around in no time? Maybe they will go back and find
Tubby's recruits were ranked pretty well and his teams did very well for everyone elses fans except those in Kentucky blue. I dont think the nation has to
be worried about the great Kentucky Wildcats for a while not because of Tubby but because players are not drawn to Kentucky because no matter what they do will
not be good enough...

Dan Monson had, what, 5 years of sanctions? I'm not saying we couldn't have done better - but comparing the way Tubby left the Kentucky program, to
the way Clem left MN is like comparing apples to oranges.
