Remember when folks were saying Maturi should hire Tim Miles (then of NDSU)? As most probably know, he ended up at Colorado State (CSU) where he had a tough
year of transition, going 7-25. According to Miles, part of the problem last year was a terribly inexperienced team with only a handful of scholarship players
-- and most of those were freshmen.

According to Blue Ribbon, the Rams have a decent backcourt with two experienced players returning but a bit of
mish-mash in their front...

Last year the Rams lost At Montana 79-39. This year they beat Montana 85-55. The guy to fear for our new big guys is Adam Ogide ( 6'-9" and 145 lbs).
Going into their last game he was averaging 20 pts. and 14 rebs. He got 13 pts. and 9 rebs. in their last game.

My co-worker is a CSU grad and he somewhat smirkingly wondered how the Gophers would handle playing at 5000+ feet elevation.

Considering the Rodents are playing 12+ guys, nobody playing more than roughly 25 minutes, I'd like to think it won't matter to the Gophers that much.
The Gophers don't exactly feature a lot of chubby out-of-shape players on the roster either.

I always thought elevation was pretty overrated. I'm not exactly in triathlon shape and I...

Phili I think.

CSU got Trevor Williams who the Gophers were recruiting earlier in the year but he isnt helping this season.

I do recall Miles' team last year was VERY inexperienced due to a pair of reasons. First, the usual loss of graduating players. Secondly, with the
coaching/regime change, he had a number of players jump ship, couldn't handle it, egos bruised, whatever. They had VERY few scholarship players on the
court last year.

No clue how they look this year. Thought about catching a cheap flight to Fort Collins but I'm not willing to sacrifice 3 days for a couple hours of...
