I obviously found this question and answer the most intersting:

GH: Being from Wisconsin (the fine city of Racine), what do you think of the Badger-Gophers rivalry?
DB: Oh, I can't wait (smiling)! I can't wait to prove to Wisconsin that I'm good enough to play in the Big Ten. They said I wasn't good enough to play.

Kam Taylor was never able to channel this emotion correctly, as I think he played quite poorly in the games I saw in the Barn. Should be interesting to see how Bostick does this year against Krabbenhoft (likely matchup) and the following year. There have not been too many Wisconsin kids playing for other Big 10 schools, as Bo has gotten most of the kids he wanted (some he wanted went to Marquette) and very few others from the state were good enough to play at the major conference level. UW will probably also have to deal with the "prove you wrong" angle when they play Marquette in the coming years, assuming Jeronne Maymon qualifies.

I am under the assumption that UW's lineup will be Hughes, Bohannon, Krabbenhoft, Landry and Nankivil, while Minnesota's will be Nolan, a guard, Bostick and two of Johnson, Iverson, Sampson and Williams. Even if Bostick has guard skills, he would essentially be a SF, which is where Krabbenhoft will probably spend most of his time. Joe was 1st team all defense this past season while guarding a variety of players, and while I have not seen Bostick since HS (when he was more of a PF), I feel reasonably comfortable with Krabbenhoft being the primary defender. He's certainly big enough, and I think he is quick enough. I would think Bostick would be a bit too big for Bohannon. Tim Jarmusz was a very good defender in HS, so he may see some time on Bostick as well, but I would still guess that Krabbenhoft will be the primary guy. Incoming freshman Robert Wilson is supposed to be a long, athletic defender as well.
