Title 9 was my first thought. Some smaller schools might not have as many sports programs so they can fit in hockey, while large universities would have to
cut a men's sport to have a hockey team. Not sure if this is true, but just a thought.

If Title 9 is the issue, then dropping a non-revenue sport like men's rowing should be a no-brainer. At the U, men's hockey is 1 of only 3 sports
that actually brings in money. Why don't these schools see they could be making big bucks off it?
