didn't want to read through the entire thread to see if this was posted, but there are two possible reasons I can think of off the top of my head.
- If a school which is already Title IX compliant adds another mens sports, theyre going to get nailed with having to find the money to add another revenue-losing women's sport.
- I would think many of the major conferences are mostly devoid of hockey teams, so for it to be an effective sport season at a school, several would have to start programs, which just won't happen.
