There is nothing wrong with occasionally stopping at an Applebees, Perkins, TGI Fridays, Chilis, etc. for a meal. But Iowegians treat these places like we treat Manny's. They are the creme de la creme for these people. I expect that some Squawkeyes will be walking into the Applebees on Block E saturday afternoon for lunch wearing a tie to gussy up their overalls.
