The day will feature some of Minnesota's best performances in 2007-08, including the Gophers' miracle finish against Indiana in the Big Ten Men's Basketball Tournament quarterfinals, the men's ice hockey team's victory against border rival Wisconsin, the Big Ten Women's Swimming and Diving Championships, the Big Ten Women's Indoor Track and Field Championships and the volleyball team's win at Ohio State.
At 8 PM CT, the Big Ten Network will present a special edition of Big Ten Tonight, the Minnesota Year in Review. The show will recap all the great Gopher moments of the past 12 months.
In addition to the most recent triumphs, the network will also re-air two Minnesota victories from the series, The Big Ten's Greatest Games, including the 1999 football victory against Penn State and the 1993 men's basketball victory against Georgetown.
The schedule also contains all eight episodes of the series, Minnesota Basketball: The Journey. Beginning with Media Day in October and ending with a postseason appearance in March, fans will be able to re-live the entire unforgettable first season under coach Tubby Smith, including special post-game locker room footage after Blake Hoffarber's amazing buzzer-beater against Indiana in the Big Ten Tournament.
Throughout the month of June, the Big Ten Network has aired university-themed programming for a full 24 hours devoted to each of the Big Ten member institutions, including Purdue (June 2), Iowa (June 4), Michigan (June 5), Illinois (June 9), Indiana (June 11), Northwestern (June 12), Ohio State (June 16), Penn State (June 18), Wisconsin (June 19), Minnesota (June 23) and Michigan State (June 25).

Minnesota 3, Ohio State 2 (10/5/07)
11th-ranked Minnesota held on for a hard-fought victory in Columbus, defeating
the Buckeyes in five games. Kyla Roehrig recorded 22 kills, a solo block and
three block assists.
7am Big Ten Women's Swimming and Diving Championships (2/21/08)
The Golden Gophers broke 14 school records and won five events to capture the
third Big Ten title in program history. Minnesota swimmers won five events to
beat second-place Michigan and third-place Indiana.
9am The Big Ten's Greatest Games
Football: Minnesota 24, Penn State 23 (11/6/99)
Minnesota dashed Penn State's dreams for a national title. Trailing by two with less
than 90 seconds to go, the Gophers faced 4th-and-16 at the Penn State 40-yard line.
A last-gasp pass from Gopher quarterback Billy Cockerham tipped off the hands of
Ron Johnson and into the hands of the diving Arland Bruce. Dan Nystrom nailed a
32-yard field goal as time expired to give Minnesota the win.

Minnesota won a second consecutive Big Ten title in front of a home crowd
at University Fieldhouse. The meet's most memorable moment came from junior
All-American Heather Dorniden. During the 600 meter dash, Dorniden tripped,
but recovered and took the lead in the final lap to win her heat.
6pm Big Ten Men's Basketball Tournament Quarterfinals
Minnesota 59, Indiana 58 (3/14/08)
With 1.5 seconds remaining and the Gophers down by one point, Blake
Hoffarber caught a full-court pass, spun away from a defender and made a
left-handed desperation attempt at the buzzer to lift Minnesota past Indiana
and into the Big Ten Tournament semifinals.

skated to a 4-2 victory at Mariucci Arena. Mike Carman and Jay Barriball tallied
power play goals for Minnesota.
