The TD scored against Northern Illinois was the first 4th Quarter, Game Winning TD since 2000.
I believe the last one they are refering to is the 80-yard TD catch by Ron Johnson against Iowa to send us to the MicronPC.chokejob/buzzkill bowl.
Does that seem like decades ago, or what? Think about that. The first time in 8 years we scored a game-winning TD in the 4th Quarter. Nothing typifies Mason's offense and gameplan more than that stat.
However, with the new clock rules I feel like Mason's record would be far better than it actually is. Gone would have been all of the stretch-running plays out of bounds that stopped the clock and gave the other team extra possessions.
