We are happy to report that thanks to the generosity of our donors, GopherHole has made the decision to move away from Yuku and adopt a new message board platform. This will solve the current virus and malware problem that has infested Yuku these past couple weeks, and also will bring an end to the multiple problems people have had with posting since we upgraded to Yuku earlier this year.
We have spent a considerable amount of time researching different options, and are thankful to those of you who have offered suggestions, ideas and the like. We have also spent time talking to various independent sports message board communities on what platforms they use, and we have decided to adopt a platform powered by VBulletin. This platform comes highly recommended, and we feel confident that it will bring much better stability than Yuku / EZ Board has offered.
Sometime in the next week or two we will be migrating the message boards to the new site. Note that this WILL require you to re-register, but for those of you that are already members on this forum, GopherHole will offer to pre-register you to ensure that you get the same user name you currently have. If you would like to take advantage of this pre-registration opportunity, just send a Private Message to the GopherHole account and just let us know what email address you would like to be registered with. GopherHole will then register you, and send you a temporary password that you can use to login to the new board once it goes live. (The pre-registration option is only available for current, active user names)
