Arizona to host big-time defensive tackle
Although it's a down year for defensive tackles in California this year, Mission Hills (Calif.) standout Edward Nuckols would be one of the elite tackles in
the state in any year.
The talented lineman has already visited Colorado and will take another recruiting visit this coming weekend.
"I'm going to Arizona," Nuckols said. "I'm excited because Arizona is a school that has been recruiting me for awhile and were one of the first schools to offer me.
"I don't have any other visits set up but I do plan on checking out Arizona State and San Diego State. I have a former teammate at ASU (Jamaar Jarrett) and he loves it there and is always talking to me about the school. San Diego State is the local school so I have interest there as well."
Nuckols had a great visit to Colorado and actually gave strong consideration to committing to the Buffs on the trip.
"I really thought hard about it," Nuckols said. "It's a great school but I really wanted to check out some other schools so I decided to hold off. Once I take a few more visits, then I'll be able to sit back and compare them to each other and that's when I'll commit."
Nuckols said he's also hearing from UCLA, Washington and Oregon but has not been offered by them yet.
